Ferry sank under tow
While towing the Korean ferry "Cosmos", 1467 gt (IMO: 7375911), which was to be transferred to the Philippines, the ship being pulled by the "Hyundai HT 112" was sinking on Sep 30, 2015, south of Jeju. The ferry had a crew of 13 crew on board and was destined from from Incheon to Manila. The crew was rescued by tug, one was reported dead.
Tug disabled in ice
The "Hyundai HT 112" became disabled in heavy ice near Vladivostok. The tug had lost propulsion after its main engine failed and requested to be towed into port. A vessel was dispatched and towed the tug to port. The tug was berthed in Vladivostok on Feb 21, 2012, around 5 a.m.
