Ferry grounded in gale
In the morning of Apr 21, 2016, the "Hasfjord"" ran aground while trying to call at Klokkerøya off Hammerfest on the route from Kjerringholmen, where she had sailed at 7.50 a.m., to Akkarfjord. She ran aground on the shore next to the ferry terminal after having caught by a wind gust of a southerly gale while turning around to get to the berth astern. After the grounding, the ferry backed out into the sea again, got docked and the passengers made it safely ashore. There were 10 passengers and four cars on board. A diver was called to look for any damage, and an investigation was launched.
