Ship released as no defiencies were found

In the afternoon of Aug 16 French prosecutors decided not to commence legal proceedings against the "Blue Creek" which had been suspected of having left a legacy of pollution of several kilometers. A trail of what looked like oil was photographed on Aug 14 afternoon by the crew of an aircraft, 74 km off Penmarc'h. The ship was then ordered to divert to Brest, where it arrived Aug 15 morning. German ship suspected of releasing hydrocarbon off French coast
