Fehn Lyra refloated
The "Fehn Lyra" could be refloated at Dikili in the Kocaeli Kandıra Kocaeli province on Feb 18. Divers were called to inspect the hull for damage on Feb 19. The ship will be allowed to leave the region only after the investigation by the Kefken Harbor Master. The tug "Eren Enerji 1" (IMO: 9664548) from Eregli needed several attempts to turn the ship around as the towing wire snapped four times on Feb 17. At noon the bow was heading to the sea. At 6 p.m. the ship was floating again and pulled to Kefken roads. It arrived at Tuzla on Feb 23 for repairs. She left the yard again on March 26 at 3.40 p.m. and berthed at the Yilport Gebze Terminal the same day at 6.15 p.m. Turkish reports with photos and video: https://www.kocaeligazetesi.com.tr/haber/1881882/kandirada-karaya-oturan-gemi-kurtarildi http://www.denizhaber.com/guncel/fehn-lyra-kuru-yuk-gemisi-kurtarildi-h77414.html https://www.virahaber.com/kandirada-karaya-oturan-gemi-kurtarildi-52186h.htm https://www.haberturk.com/kocaeli-de-karaya-oturan-kuru-yuk-gemisini-kurtarma-calismalari-tamamlandi-2377546 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uos4rJgETQ0
