VLCC to be rebuilt for offshore purposes
Maersk Line has sold the "Maersk Eli" to Dutch SBM Offshore which will convert the 12-year-old tanker for offshore applications, for example as floating storage or FPSO. Maersk has been paid between 31 and $ 32 million for the supertanker.
