Dürnstein stuck on wreck
In the night of Nov 14, 2011, the "Dürnstein" ran onto the wreck of a cargo vessel which sank on the Danube near Regelsbrunn in May 2010. The ship which is connected to a barge can only be pulled off the wreck when the water level is rising as otherwise the hull may be breached. The wreck underneath the "Dürnstein" is to be dismantled in January 2012. Austrian report with photo: http://derstandard.at/1319182952320/Niederoesterreich-Erneut-schwerer-Schiffsunfall-auf-der-Donau
