Rupture caused oil pollution
On May 7, 2018, at 11.15 a.m. an oil film measuring about 20 square metres was found near berth No. 4 at the port of Yeisk. The source of the contamination was presumed to be the "Daylight" which had experienced an oil leakage due to a hydraulic rupture while at the berth. At 11.30 a.m. an oil response team working on the port vessel "Eya" treated the oil film with 10 kg of sorbent materials and by 1 p.m. the pollution was eliminated.
