Tug and yacht sank on Oude Maas
On July 20, 2018, at 7.45 a.m. the "Commando" (ENI-No.: 02315230) sank while pulling the sailing yacht "Sera" on the Oude Maas near the Boltek Bridge. One of the ships had suffered water ingress and pulled the other down. Only the mast of the yacht remained visible. The crew of two of the tug was saved by a nearby rubber boat. The tug was recovered on July 22 by the sheerleg "Hebo Cat 7" of Hebo Maritiem to avoid a spill of fuel. It was followed by the yacht the next day.
