Worker fell down into hold
A worker fell two meters down into the hold of the 'Ciudade de Albufeira', which was docked at the fishing pier in Muros, on Dec 19, 2024, and was injured. At 2.30 pm. the rescue services were alerted, and a medical team was mobilized to the port. who had suffered a fall of about two meters. The members of the GES de Muros, the local police and Civil Guard officers collaborated in the response. The man was stabilied and then transported by a medical helicopter to Santiago for further medical care.
Fishing vessel towed to safety
