The 'Angela Mcshan' repatriated 83 people to Cuba on Jan 19, following interdictions off Florida’s coast. The Coast Guard Cutter 'Confidence' alerted Sector Key West watchstanders of a migrant vessel on Jan 17 at approximately 8:30 p.m., about 30 miles south of Bahia Honda State Park. The Coast Guard Cutter 'Pablo Valent' alerted Sector Key West watchstanders of a migrant vessel on Jan 18 at approximately 1:50 p.m., about 75 miles south of Dry Tortugas and of another migrant vessel the same day, at approximately 3:15 p.m., about 25 miles north of Mariel, Cuba. A good Samaritan notified Sector Key West watchstanders of a migrant vessel the same day, at approximately 3:50 p.m., about 30 miles northeast of Havana, Cuba. A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater law enforcement aircrew alerted Sector Key West watchstanders of a migrant vessel the same day at approximately 5:30 p.m., about 55 miles south of Marathon. A good Samaritan notified Sector Key West watchstanders of a migrant vessel on Jan 12 at approximately 8:15 p.m., about 30 miles south of Islamorada. The Coast Guard Cutter 'Dependable' notified Sector Key West watchstanders of a migrant vessel the same day, at approximately 8:45 a.m., about 10 miles southeast of Lower Matecumbe.
