Ferry suffered mechanical damage
In the afternoon of Sep 16, 2023, the Port Authority of Nidri was informed by the Master of the 'Captain Aristidis' about a mechanical damage while the ship was sailing between the prefecture of Kefalonia and the prefecture of Lefkada on the scheduled route from the port of Vasiliki Lefkada to Fiskardo of Kefalonia with 36 passengers and 12 vehicles.
Passenger injured in fall on board
The Port Authority of Fiskardo was informed in the morning of May 4, 2023, about the injury of an 82-year-old passenger of the 'Captain Aristides' upon disembarking at the port of Fiskardo, Kefalonia. While going to his vehicle which was in the car deck of the ship, he fell and suffered an injury to the back of his head. He was initially given first aid on board by the local doctor, and then transferred to the Fiskardo Regional Clinic for further medical treatment.
