Disabled sailing vessel towed to Dover
The Dover Lifeboat rescued 11 crew members after the "Camelot" suffered engine failure near Dover harbour on July 12, 2016. The Coastguard requested the launch of the RNLI lifeboat at 2.40 p.m. to assist the vessel. The engine was suspected to have failed due to fuel contamination. Windy weather and a strong tide meant that the "Camelot" needed assistance in order to reach Dover Harbour safely. The lifeboat located the vessel approximately three miles west of the harbour.
