Cruise ship under preparation for breaker's torch
The "Costa Allegra" which was listed as sold to Turkish scrappers in mid September is currently undergoing preparation for her final journey to Aliaga at Genoa’s San Giorgio del Porto Shipyard before heading for its final destination about 50 km north of Izmir.
Costa Allegra sold to Turkush breakers
After the negotiations of Costa Cruises with Cruise Holiday about selling the "Costa Allegra" failed as the price of $30 Mio. was too much, the ship was sold to Turkish breakers for $10 Mio.
