At river km 2268 8 the master had to wait for approaching ship traffic in the curve of Mühlham. Due to the strong currents the ship drifted onto the left side river shore and got stock on the gravel bottom. The master did not send a distress call but tried to get off without permission again. A launch of the water police Deggendorf remarked the ship at 11 a.m. The master was ordered to stop the attempts to avoid an accumulation of sediment which might endanger passing traffic. The ship was stuck outside the fairway, ship traffic was possible with reduced speed. The river authority Deggendorf was investigating means to refloat the barge. On Nov 26 at noon another barge should try to pull the "Bayern" to deeper water again.
