Grounding off Agia Marina
The Greek charter yacht 'Anassa' (MMSI: 240833000), ran aground on Aug 16, 2020, at noon near the port of Agia Marina, Aegina. The 'Malteos I-Reskio' came to assist as well as a patrol vehicke. The 'Anassa' with 11 passengers on board had suffered water ingress. A tender boat transported the passengers to the port of Agia Marina, in good health. The 'Anassa' was taken i tow by the 'Malteos I-Reskio'. The relevant Port Authority, which wasconducting the preliminary investigation, issued a sailing ban until the ship has been inspected by the moniting classification society and the presentation of a certificate of seaworthiness.
