Ala still in port of Grenå after grounding
The "Ala", which ran aground on the island Hjelm on Nov 26, is still in Grenå port. The ship is waiting while the owner is trying to find out what to do next. It is operated by the Panama-based Timberlake Corporation of the Edwin Smith Skeppsmäkleri AB in Falkenberg, Sweden. The vessel has suffered hull damage in the grounding which happened while the ship was en route from Kolding to Varberg. It was pulled free by the tug "Goiath Vig" and escorted to Grenå where the hull was investigated after the ship docked on Nov 28. The only movement since was from harbour basin V to IV where it docked on Dec 5 at 1 p.m.
