The delivery voyage was, however, troubled, as on Nov 23 at 6:23 p.m. the KNRM rescue station at Eemshaven was alerted that the boat was adrift in the port entrance following an engine failure with one person on board. The engine had stopped as it was short of fuel between the buoys 34 and 36. Within 20 minutes, the lifeboat "Jan en Titia Visser" was on the spot and took the yacht in tow.
