Reefer grounded off Kronshtadt
The "Sirius" ran aground near a small island in the Gulf Kronshlot short after leaving the port of St. Petersburg on Mar 13, 2016, following a rudder failure. The ship, which was bound to Norway and unloaded at the time of the accident, got stuck on the shore with its bow and was resting outside the Morskoy Canal fairway. Divers were called to survey the hull and condition of the vessel during daytime. None of the 18 crew members were injured, and the grounded ship did not obstruct navigation.
