Allision in Kiel-Holtenau
The "Papenburg" got off course enroute from Papenburg to Rostock on June 8, 2016, at 1.35 p.m. when entering the southern chamber of the Kiel Canal in Kiel-Holtenau. The ship struck the tail of the lock with the starboard side foreship. After investigations it was allowed to continue the voyage at 3 p.m., ETA Rostock June 9, 8 a.m. now. Engine trouble once again
Enroute from Rostock to Papenburg with a new building section for the Meyer Yard in Papenburg on deck the "Papenburg" suffered engine trouble on the Ems near buoy 98 on Mar 10, 2016. The ship was stopped by an emergency anchoring manoever before receiving by the "Friesland" (IMO: 9031387) and the tug "Gruno 4" (IMO: 9342669). Cargo of casualty vessel transshipped to Papenburg
While the "Papenburg", after having run aground on the Ems while enroute from Rostock to Papenburg with a cargo of ship sections for the Meyer Yard, was remaining at the South Quay in Emden, the cargo was loaded onto barges and taken to Papenburg by the tugs "Gruno 3" and "Gruno 4" on Dec 29.
