Grounding near Asenleia

On Nov 2 the 'Multi Pioner' while on Fish farm service operations, ran aground in near Asenleia in the Lysøysund in the Ørland community in pos. 63 56 00 N, 009 47 00 E, on Nov 2, 2022, at about 09.50 a.m. The starboard rudder was immobilized with possible sea water ingress in the cofferdam. The Norwegian Coast Guard deployed the patrol boat 'Heimdal', the NSSR the lifeboat 'Horn Flyer', assisted by the ''Amazon' (IMO: 5377159). Jointly they refloated the vessel and towed it to the Folla Maritime shipyard, Flatanger. Fire in Bufjord

On March 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. a fire broke out in the engine room of the "Multi Pioneer" in the Bufjord south of Florø. The crew of five quickly gained control of the situation by closing off the engine room. None of them was injured or had to be evacuated.
