Salvage expenses still to be paid

Tue Apr 23 10:54:21 CEST 2019 Timsen

Salvage expenses for the "Mark" were yet to be paid by the Owners to the Coastal Safety account. The official letter has been issued by the Harbour Master to the owner's local agent in order to provide further payment together with legal expenses. The vessel remained stationary at Haydarpasa port, Istanbul, as of April 20.

Mark towed to Haydarpasa

Mon Jan 07 13:55:09 CET 2019 Timsen

On Jan 6, cooling operations on the "Mark" were completed by coastal safety tugs and technical teams went onboard the vessel. An initial damage survey and further inspection was carried out by an appointed expert panel. Crew incident statements were taken by Harbour Master incident investigation desk officers. Subsequently, the vessel was towed by a Coastal Safety tug to Haydarpasa, where a more detailed damage survey and investigation was to be carried out and where it remained stationary by Feb 10.
