Fire on cruise boat

On Apr 5, 2018, at 7 a.m. firefighters were called to douse a fire that broke out on the "Magic Charm" which was moored at a marina in Coal Harbour in Vancouver, sending thick smoke into the air near the Westin Bayshore Hotel. The Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services dispatched a firefighting boat to the scene and crews managed to prevent the blaze from spreading to any other yachts. They quickly managed to knock down the fire in the 1600 block of West Georgia Street. The crews were then making sure there are no more flare-ups. It was not yet known how the fire started.
