Smouldering fire killed four crew members
Smoke emerged from the fish-meal workshop on board of the "Kapitan Sulimov" in the morning of July 13, 2017, in southern Norwegian Sea while fishing. Four crew members entered the room to fight fire without breathing apparatus, all four inhaled too much smoke and died. There was no fire actually, only corrugated packaging was smouldering. The smouldering fire was extinguished, and the trawler proceeded to the Faroes Islands to conduct forensics and investigation. It berthed in Torshavn on July 14 at 11 a.m.
