The master Mart van der Meij became master of the "H 171".

Ship still like a huge oven - new fire under control
The Scheveningen firefighters remained on standby at the "Johanna Maria" in case the fire would be flaring up again. After the fire department had gained control on June 23, it reignited in a small corner as the ship has actually become a huge oven on June 24 at 1.30 p.m. Two fire trucks, a crane and divers dispatched for the safety of the firefighters began another inspection aboard the ship where swiring harness was still smoldering. The new fire in a corner was quite small with little smoke and was caused by a supply of oxygen. at 3:30 p.m. the fire department had the fire under control. It was monitored how heat developed. The ship's owner Jaczon has hired own firemen, but the local fire brigade kept an engine ready on the dock. The mechanic who was brought to the hospital with burns was expected to be released on June 25.
