One injured in ship fire

The fire aboard the 'CMA CGM Rabeleis' broke out in one of the containers on the deck on April 6 at noon. The master of the vessel immediately ordered firefighting operation and the fire was soon controlled. During the firefighting effort, one of the crew member slipped and fell, fracturing his ribs.he received first aid on board and was in stable condition, but he was taken to an hospital when the vessel arrives at Port Kelang on April 7. No pollution was reported in the incident.

Container ship disabled following explosion

The 'CMA CGM Rabeleis'm en route from Tanjung Pelepas to Nhava Sheva, suffered an explosion, followed by a fire, in the western Malacca Strait between the Andaman Islands and Banda Aceh on April 6, 2022, at around 12.30 p.m. UTC. The ship was adrift and NUC since.
