CCNI Arauco repairs completed
The "CCNI Arauco" finally left the berth 13/14 at the Blohm & Voss Yard in Hamburg on Dec 21 at 8 a.m. and was towed to the Burchard Quay in Hamburg Waltershof-Port where it was docked at berth 1/2 at 9.30 a.m. where the bunker tanker "Antonie" (MMSI: 244660713) went alongside. The ship entered its schedule again and left the Burchard Quay in Hamburg Waltershof-Port on Dec 22 at 11 p.m. bound to Antwerp as next port of cal, ETA Dec 23, 11 p.m.
Sea trials following repairs at Blohm & Voss
The "CCNI Arauco" left the Blohm & Voss Yard in Hamburg for the first time after extensive repairs on Dec 11 and headed towards the North Sea at 12.40 p.m. for sea trials. Blohm & Voss officially named as contractor
After lengthy negotiations the Blohm & Voss Yard in Hamburg was finally announced to be the contractor for the repair of the "CCNI Arauco" on Oct 18. The ship will not to have drydocked for the work which includes the exchange of steel in the fire affected region.
