Bottom touch in Esbjerg
On June 30, 2018, the 'Annette' ran aground while manoevering insde the port of Esbjerg. There was no pollution. The Danish Maritime Authority started an investigation of the case and the master was fined for failing to report the incident. The ship berthed at the FSG Shipyard in Flensburg on July 1 at 8.15 p.m.
Fire in the Bosphorus
On Jan 1, 2017, a fire was reported aboard the "Annette" off Haydarpaşa while transiting the Bosphorus enroute from Constanta to Rotterdam. The Istanbul Vessel Traffic Service deployed the tugs "Kurtama 7" and "Kurtama 8" as well as the lifeboat "Kiyi Emniyeti 4" to assist. The disabled ship with its crew of 19 and a general cargo on board was taken in tow and could be secured and anchored off Ahirkapı. Heavy load carrier refused to transit Kiel Canal
The "Annette" was refused the clearance to transit Kiel Canal after authorities found that that the height of the deck cargo was slightly exceeding the maximum of 40 meters in the Kiel Canal on Aug 26, 2016, within the locks in Kiel-Holtenau. The ship was carrying a mobile crane and wind farm spare parts from Rostock to Bremerhaven. The ship backed out of the lock and had to take the way round Skagen, finally reaching Bremerhaven on Aug 28 at 8 a.m.
