Arrest in Singapore

The 'Xin Xin Shan' was arrested in Singapore on April 22, 2024, at 1.36 p.m. LT, on behalf of the law firms PDLegal LLC and DennisMathiew. The ship had arrived from St. Petersburg and was being held at the Eastern Anchorage. The arrest was likely to involve disputes over the payment of goods and services related to the vessel's operation. Its commercial controller is the Dalian Haida International Fleet in China.

Ship to discharge in Acajutla after container loss

The 'Caribbean Express' lost 21 containers overboard in rough seas. 11 were washed up on the El Salvador coast on Sep 14, 2021. The ship, which was providing a charter service at that time, was arrested in Acajutla Port, El Salvador. It berthed at Acajutla in order to discharge the remaining containers, on Jan 8, 2022. There will be 500 containers involved, awaiting transport from Acajutla to the rest of Central America.
