34th vessel "GISELE A" joined Arkas Fleet

Gisele A with a capacity of 2.764 TEU and its sister vessel Kemal A become the bigger vessels in Turkey. Arkas is continuing to invest in container vessels because of its increasing trade volume and the demand for transport services. In March the company added the Kemal A to its fleet, and in April it received delivery of a new vessel, the Gisele A, in Spain. After maintenance work was completed on the vessel, she docked at Marport. Arkas Holding Chairman Lucien Arkas toured the vessel at the port with members of his family on Friday, May 9th to celebrate the new addition to the fleet. The Gisele A is 208 meters long, has a capacity of 2,764 TEU and has outlets for 400 reefer containers. Arkas Line is operating the Gisele A on its West Africa service The vessel is being operated by Arkas’ shipowner company, Arkas Line, on the West Africa service.
