Freighter disabled off Flushing
In the evening of Oct 30, 2017, the "African Wind" suffered engine failure and was disabled around 7 p.m. after its arrival from La Rochelle in the outer port area of Flushing. Some tugs were sent to assist the ship which was about 1,5 miles off the shore. At 8 p.m. the propulsion could be restored, and the vessel proceeded to its port of destination, Antwerp, with own power. It berthed in the Albert Dock at 1.15 a.m. on Oct 31 and left the port of Antwerp again on Nov 4 at 5.15 p.m., bound to Rouen, arriving there on Nov 6 at 3.40 a.m. Dutch report with photo: https://www.hvzeeland.nl/nieuws/33940-schip-in-problemen-bij-vlissingen/
