Boxship in collision with fishing vessel

The "Hansa Magdeburg" was involved in a collision with a South Korean fishing vessel 60 miles SE of Mokpo on Sep 2, 2015, at 01.20 a.m. After the accident the container ship immediately returned to the scene of the accident to look for the crew, but without success. The officers on board reported the accident to South Korean Coast Guard and resumed the voyage to Busan with reduced speed. The ship remained available to authorities for further investigation. The Coastguard started SAR for the probably missing seamen. The "Hansa Magdeburg" was en route from Qingdao to Busan and was proceeding in eastern direction north of Jeju island at reduced speed of some 6-7 knots the following morning.
