Repairs in Flushing completed

The "Neckar Highway", 9233 gt (IMO: 9179995), left the Damen Shipyard in the port of Flushing after completition of repairs of the damage suffered in the collision with the "Baltic Breeze" (IMO: 8312590), on Oct 31 at 6 pm. The ship was bound for Emden as next port of call and docked on Nov 1 at 11.15 a.m. before continuing to Grimsby in the evening, where she docked on Nov 3 at 1.45 a.m.

Repair of collision damage in Flushing

The "Neckar Highway", after its collision with the "Baltic Breeze", (IMO: 8312590), in Zeebrugge sailed to the Damen Shiprepair Yard in Flushing in the midday hours of Oct 3. The ship had suffered significant damage to the wheelhouse at port side when running into the "Baltic Breeze" in the lock after having been unable to stop in time. The "Baltic Breeze" which suffered damage on starboard side was still being berthed in Zeebrugge.
