Ferry service interrupted due to technical trouble
On Aug 23, 2019, at 6.13 a.m. NRK Traffik reported that the sailings of the "Goma" serving the Sæbø - Lekneset route of the Fv 655 between Ørsta and Tryggestad had to be canceled due to technical problems. At 7.17 p.m. the ferry was back in service after troubleshooting.
Ferry suffered engine damage
The "Goma" suffered an engine damage while crossing the Hjørundfjord on June 16, 2019. The ship was towed to the Vegsund slip by a tug. After operator Fjord1 inserted the spare ferry "Dalsfjorden", traffic on the Lekneset-Sæbø route was back to normal only on June 18. Ferry allided with pier
On Oct 2, 2017, at 10.25 a.m. the "Goma" allided with the ferry pier in Sæbø and caused damage to the wood and concrete on the quayside. The ship had encountered problems with the maneuvering system enroute from from Trandal to Sæbø. Attempts to stop the ship by an emergency anchoring manoever failed. There was no visible damage to the bow of the ferry, but a diver was called to investigate the hull. At 7.45 p.m. the "Dalsfjord" was inserted as a replacement ferry. The "Goma" remained out of service so far.
