Fire in Detroit
The "Federal Margaree" suffered a fire in the engine room in the night of July 26, 2015. The bulkcarrier was docked at the Nicholson's Detroit Dock on the Detroit River at that time. The fire was extinguished by 11.15 p.m. and the crew was inspecting the space for damage. On July 28 at 1.30 a.m. the vessel left Detroit and was underway again on the Lake Huron.
