Fire on catamaran boat

The police in North Trøndelag was notified on Oct 31, 2015, at 10:53 a.m. about a fire aboard the Norwegian 45-ft-catamaran ship "Æge". The ship which is being used in the aquaculture industry was underway from Flatanger to Bodø Rørvik Harbor in the Vikna municipality in North-Trøndelag when the crew of two who discovered the fire in the starboard engine past Rørvik. They reached port with own power, using the port engine. In Rørvik the fire department and ambulance as well as the NSSR boat "Harald V" attended. The boat will be towed to Moen Slip in Kolvereid for repairs now.
